How to Frontside Big Spin on a Skateboard!

LA's favorite skate instructor Coyote Rob breaks down this trick in today's video!

This is a frontside 360 pop shove-it and frontside body varial executed in a single direction.

1. Feet are in frontside 360 pop shove‑it stance. Front foot is near the bolts, closer to the center, toe and heel hanging. Back foot is on the tail, near the heel edge.

2. Snap, spin the board to a frontside 360 pop shove‑it, and use your shoulders to spin your frame 180 degrees backside.

3. The board is spinning faster than your body. When your body and board finish rotating and aline, you’re done. Land and ride away in switch.

The frontside bigspin is a combination of a frontside shuv it and a frontside 180, so you’ll wanna have both those tricks down before you start trying it. Once you do, here’s how it goes.

Take a nice solid cut from the inside of the wake towards the outside.

Start to pop with your backfoot towards the front and as you are doing that, start spinning your board with your backfoot.

If you do it right, it’s gonna start to come around.

Spot your landing

When you land, lean a little bit over your toes, so you’re not slipping out cause that’s a really real case.

Ride away clean!

Check out the video for a few more details on mastering this trick.
